Ah the sun is finally shining again here at the seaside - I had given up hope of ever seeing it again!
I have been very busy recently playing (ahem, working!) with my lovely Summery fabrics for my new projects.

Top of my "to do" list was a birthday present for my sister. This fabulous satchel pattern came from the new book by Lisa Lam A Bag For All Reasons. It is packed full of tutorials and patterns for making beautiful bags with a professional finish. Once I'd finished the bag, I really didn't want to give it away, but the younger sibling was very pleased with her gift so I can't complain (too much :).

I'm so pleased with how it turned out I'm planning on making one for myself asap!

And We're Back!

And we're back!
I can't believe this is my first post of 2012, my fingers certainly haven't been idle since Christmas (Christmas? Crikey, that was months ago!)
I've been working on some commissions and new product lines, it is all very exciting.

This particular commission turned out so well I'm making some more, this time in a gold dupion silk. They are extremely pretty (if I do say so myself :) I'll post more pictures very soon.
